F3 Gold meets with state leaders, attends School of Mines Day at the Capitol.

F3 Gold visited the South Dakota State Capitol to meet with government officials and attend the School of Mines Day

F3 Gold founders Rob Bergmann and Brian Lentz traveled to Pierre, South Dakota in late February to meet with state leaders, including Hunter Roberts, Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and Kelly Hepler, Secretary of Game, Fish & Parks.

The meetings were an important opportunity to update the secretaries on F3 Gold’s proposed plan for exploratory drilling, but also served as an opportunity for Rob and Brian to share F3 Gold’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sound business practices with two important leaders in South Dakota state government.

F3 Gold met with South Dakota School of Mines & Technology students and faculty during the School of Mines Day at the Capitol.

The trip coincided with the School of Mines Day at the Capitol, during which Rob and Brian got to meet several students in the mining program at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and talk to them about their passion for exploration geology and minerals.

Also at the School of Mines Day were members of SDSM&T faculty, including professor Mark Bowron and university president James Rankin, who were there to talk to legislators about the importance of the university, and the impact of the exploration and mining industries on the state’s economy.
